To honor our nation’s veterans and their sacrifices, our Hylan West team is proud to support military organizations and initiatives such as the VECI: Veterans Employment Center Initiative, the Honor Walk and more.

VECI: VETERANS EMPLOYMENT CENTER INITIATIVE

Veterans have a proven record of performance and are ready to serve in new civilian jobs where there is a need for leadership, team-building, organizational commitment,
and advanced technical training.

Hylan West is proud to join with the VECI to seek employment applicants from the U.S. Military Sector. The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is the office of transition, Employment, and Economic Impact. They have newly created the VEC, Veterans Economic Center, as the federal government’s single authoritative Internet source for connecting transitioning Service members, Veterans, and members of their families to employers that are committed to hiring them.

This initiative aims to increase education, employment and on-the-job training internship opportunities for Veterans and their families.

Honor Walk, is an annual event to recognize more than 625,000 Arizonans who have served our country in the military and the brave men & women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Learn more.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is one of only a few hospitals in the nation that employs its own teaching staff: the Phoenix Children’s 1 Darn Cool School – and Hylan West is so proud to support such an amazing educational program.
